1) What SellwiseHub provides

SellwiseHub provides:

  • An inquiry feature that helps buyers contact listing owners (suppliers/sellers)
  • Account verification features to increase trust and safety

SellwiseHub does not guarantee outcomes, sales, profits, or marketplace approvals.

You must:

  • provide accurate account information,
  • keep your password secure,

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

SellwiseHub may offer tokens and/or subscriptions:

  • Tokens may be required for certain actions (e.g., contacting suppliers/sellers).
  • Token prices, features, and rules may change.
  • Purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

4) Listings and user content

You are responsible for the content you submit, including:

  • Listing accuracy (pricing, MOQ, product description, images, location)
  • Ownership and rights to images/text you upload
  • Ensuring you are legally allowed to sell/advertise what you list

We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5) Marketplace tools and accuracy disclaimer

Some SellwiseHub tools rely on third-party platforms (e.g., marketplaces and retailer data). You understand that:

  • third-party sites/apps change frequently,
  • results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate,
  • SellwiseHub is not responsible for third-party errors, outages, blocks, or policy changes.

Use results as research signals, not guarantees.

6) Inquiries and communication

When you send an inquiry:

  • You agree your inquiry details (name/email/message) may be sent to the listing owner.
  • The listing owner may reply directly to you (including by email).
  • SellwiseHub does not control the listing owner’s conduct, response time, or deal terms.
  • Any transaction or relationship is between you and the other party.

7) Prohibited use

You may not:

  • use SellwiseHub for illegal activities
  • upload harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content

We may suspend/terminate accounts or remove content if:

  • you violate these Terms,
  • you present fraud/safety risk,
  • required by law or platform integrity.

We may also limit certain features (e.g., posting or inquiries) to protect users.

9) Liability limitation

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • SellwiseHub is provided “as is” and “as available”.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free results.
  • We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profit, data loss, business interruption).
  • Our total liability (if any) is limited to the amount you paid to SellwiseHub in the last 30 days, unless law requires otherwise.

10) Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify SellwiseHub against claims arising from:

  • your content,

  • your misuse of the platform.

11) Changes to the service and Terms

We may update features, token rules, pricing, and these Terms. Continued use means you accept updates.

12) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in South Africa, unless another jurisdiction is required by consumer law.

Verification Policy

Verification Policy (Trust & Safety)

SellwiseHub offers verification to improve trust, reduce scams, and protect users.

A) Why verification exists

Verification helps:

  • reduce impersonation and fake listings,
  • promote accountability,
  • build buyer confidence,
  • unlock trust indicators (e.g., “Verified” status) for higher-quality marketplace experiences.

Verification does not guarantee product quality, delivery, or business success. It is a trust signal, not insurance.

B) What verification means

If you are verified, it means SellwiseHub has reviewed certain information you submitted and approved your verification status at the time of review.

It does not mean:

  • SellwiseHub endorses your products,
  • SellwiseHub guarantees your business performance,
  • SellwiseHub guarantees a buyer/seller will complete a deal.

C) What we may request

Depending on the verification tier or risk profile, we may request:

  • basic identity/business confirmation info,
  • proof of business registration (if applicable),
  • proof of control of contact email/phone,
  • other documents needed to prevent fraud.

We try to collect the minimum necessary.

D) Review outcomes

Verification requests may be:

  • Approved
  • Rejected
  • Pending review
  • Revoked (if new evidence indicates fraud, repeated complaints, or policy violations)

We may store:

  • verification status,
  • reviewer notes,
  • timestamps,
  • the fact that documents were received/reviewed (and in some cases the documents themselves if required).

E) Revocation, re-verification, and updates

We may revoke verification if:

  • information was false or misleading,
  • there is fraud/scam activity,
  • repeated serious complaints occur,
  • account security is compromised.

We may require re-verification periodically or after major account changes.

F) Privacy and access

Verification information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Some verification status fields may be visible to other users (e.g., “Verified”), but sensitive documents should not be publicly shown.

G) Zero tolerance behaviours

Immediate rejection/revocation may occur for:

  • identity fraud or impersonation
  • stolen documents
  • repeated scam reports
  • abusive conduct toward users
